What to include
You don't need a technical spec. Plain words are fine. These four things help us give you a useful answer instead of a vague one.
- What you're trying to build, in your own words
- What already exists, if anything (an app, a prototype, a site)
- Any fixed deadline, like a launch date or investor meeting
- A budget range, even a rough one
About the budget question
A range isn't a negotiating position. It tells us which version of the answer is useful to you.
The same problem can often be solved for $2,000 or $20,000, and either can be the right call. We can't tell you which without knowing your budget. No budget in mind yet? Say so, and we'll suggest options at a few price points.
