Need a landing page behind that QR code?

A QR code is only as good as the page it opens. We build fast, mobile-first landing pages that turn scans into customers.

Quick answer: A QR code generator turns a URL, text, WiFi login, or contact card into a scannable 2D barcode. Static QR codes (what this tool makes) are free forever, never expire, and aren't tracked - point your phone camera at one to open the content instantly. Dynamic codes, which let you edit the destination later, usually require a paid subscription.

Static vs dynamic QR codes

A static QR code stores its data directly in the pattern, so it's permanent, free, and works without any third party - but you can't change the destination after printing. A dynamic code stores a short redirect URL you can edit later and that records scan analytics, which is useful for campaigns - but it depends on a paid service, and the code stops working if that subscription lapses. This tool makes static codes on purpose: no lock-in, no expiry, no surprise bills. If you later need editable destinations and analytics, build that on a page you control.

Frequently asked questions

Are these QR codes really free?
Yes - static codes, free forever, no signup, no watermark, unlimited scans.
Do QR codes expire?
Static codes never expire. Only paid dynamic codes can stop working if the service lapses.
Static vs dynamic?
Static stores data directly (permanent, free); dynamic uses an editable redirect (paid, trackable).
What size for print?
At least ~2cm, roughly 1/10th of the scan distance. Use the SVG so it stays sharp at any size.
What's error correction?
It lets a damaged code still scan. Use H if placing a logo over the code.
